Our Coverage in a Nutshell
Our plans provide coverage for accidental injuries and illnesses. We offer two plans based on the age of the cat. Our 9 Lives Junior plan is $9.99/month (plus tax) and is for cats ages 0-9 years. Similarly, our 9 Lives Senior plan is $11.99/month (plus tax) and is for cats ages 10 years and older.
- DEDUCTIBLE:
The deductible is $99 (taxes included) per incident per year for regular 9 Lives plans, and $0 for those that have the add on Umbrella plan. - ANNUAL LIMIT:
The annual limit for regular 9 Lives plans is $1,999 (plus taxes) per year. The Umbrella plan gives you an additional $1,999 (plus taxes) in coverage per year per Umbrella. - CO PAY:
We reimburse you 100% of the costs, up to the annual limit. - WAITING PERIODS:
There is a 2 day waiting period for accidental injuries, and 7 days for illnesses. - EXCLUSIONS:
Pre-existing conditions, and regular health maintenance procedures: spay/neuter, vaccines, dental, annual wellness check ups etc.
OUR SUBSCRIPTIONS
Choose from one of our two subscriptions based on the age of your cat. Coverage is all encompassing, and covers your cat from nose to tail. We accept all breeds and any age. Our coverage plans reimburse you based on your actual veterinary bill and cover accidental injuries, illnesses, emergencies, alternative therapies and more. There are NO annual or sign-up fee's, and you can cancel your coverage at any time, free of charge.
We also have an optional add on Umbrella plan that waives the deductible for all claims for the year, and increases your coverage by an additional $1,999 (plus taxes) per year per Umbrella. If you have more than one cat covered, you can use the Umbrella coverage on any of them, so there's no need to buy one for each cat (unless you want to!).

For our "spring kittens" and younger cats

For our wiser, more seasoned cats

UMBRELLA PLAN
$99/year (plus tax)
An optional add on plan that gives you extra coverage to save for a rainy day, and waives the deductible on all claims.
